Resolution #1

2013 is coming to a close and resolutions can be funny things. My trick is to set attainable goals; small little wisdoms to live by that are easy to follow through with everyday. In leu of the new year, I’m counting down with resolutions that are easy to stand by. Ever.

Simple enough, but in a world of fast fashion and flash sales the cheaper option can be quite appealing. If you want something bad enough, it’s worth searching and waiting for. Settling for anything can put anyone in a very unhappy place.

Start small. Save the money you would spend on those knock-off Charlotte Olympia kitty flats towards a real pair. Maybe you have the perfect, little black dress in the back of your mind. Instead of getting that one that is not exactly what you’re looking for, but it’s on sale, hold out! The perfect fabric, style, and cut is out there somewhere and worth every penny.

Tee’s Me Tuesday

This tee brought a smile to my face. What’s more is that it’s by a company based in San Francisco! Buy Me Brunch has some adorably witty tees for men and women. This one, in my humble opinion, takes the cake!Becky Alt
For this TMT post, I wanted to give you more of a “going out” look. Every now and then, I need a night out with my girlfriends to eat, drink, dance, and gossip! This is what you will likely see me in on a girls night out. Oh, and that fuzzy thing? Yep, thats a clutch. I cannot lieJacket by Fashion Union, Clutch by joannaPYBUS, Jeans by Zalando, and Oxfords by Loeffler Randall.
