When you’re selling them in Target for nearly 30 bucks, I’d say the trend has reached a new level of crazy. And if you’re planning on going to the thrift shop for a last minuet ugly Christmas sweater party, forget about it. All those were snatched up and posted on Etsy for at least 20 bucks a pop. Well, thankfully Modcloth provides more adorable and tasteful options to choose from.
Find all of these and so much more holiday cheer at Modcloth.
Need a reason to wear your new sweater? If you happen to be in San Francisco, come to 20 Mission’s Ugly Christmas Sweater Party for Christmas joy and cheer! Live music, free (limited) beverages, and a photobooth? Sold! Check out their event page for the all deets!
Christmas has crept up on me! It seems this transitional phase of mine has put me in a rather awkward position. In between work, more work, eating, and sleeping, when do I have time to go Christmas shopping?
Well, I might not have a ton of time to go shopping, but you might! Without further a due, here is a list of what I’m hoping to see under the tree this year.
From top left: Sandals, Swedish Hasbeens. Booties, Loeffler Randall. Cross-Body Purse, Foley + Corrina. Coat, Top Shop. Sewing Machine (I’m not a professional, so any one that can actually allow me to hem denim will do!). Flats, BC Shoes. Clogs, Swedish Hasbeens. Boots, MIA.
(ps: I’m a size 8 shoe!)
Anyone take part in this weekend’s shopping extravaganza? I must confess: I did a little shopping for myself. I wasn’t going to, but I need to retire my Hello Kitty laptop tote bag and I’ve been searching high and low for a mint coat. I decided to spring for this coat for $60 from Choies and this purse from ASOS (after my discount, it was only $70!). Yeah, they sort of put me in a hole, but every once in a while you need to spoil yourself!
If you need me, I’ll be waiting by the mailbox!
