Peepin’ the Street: Ode to the Crop Top

If you follow my Instagram, you’ll know at the beginning of the year I acquired a new piece of body art. I love my new ink and I’ve been trying to find any excuse to show it off! Unfortunately, it’s on my side and I’ve been trying to find outfits that would allow my work to peek through. Thank goodness for crop tops!

If you had asked me what I thought of crop tops 7 years ago, I would have probably made gaging noises in response. Thanks to the structured versions and style guides that show you how to make them more demure, I’ve since had a change of heart. Here’s a few of my favorite looks from the street (the cream of the crop, if you will!). 5c7cb4afaae7df7ddaedbff187b228de 37b4559604e0219dfc72be5344bdd331 49d31076c747880a8f36ea655b289b43 7045f6905be714cdfe610101ca66bcb5 c36285c561e2da1a14b56382455f0db9 c526306f3c879a12b3f5f5842bc27655

PS: If you missed it and want to see my work, here it is! Thank you so much, Zeph Fishlyn! You’ve given me a reason to love sheer shirts and crop tops. She did an incredible job with the design and with the needle. If you’re in the bay and need a great tat, I highly recommend her! jessie-jackalope
