I’ve been feeling a bit under the weather recently, hence my absence for the past couple days.
I’m still fighting something, and when I’m down and out, I always order some extra spicy Tom Ka Gai from Osha Thai. I’ve yet to make it myself, but this Turkey Tom Ka recipe from Donal Skehan looks simple enough!

As you know, I’m always looking for ways to recreate my favorite trends on the cheap. This week, I would like to introduce a new segment DIY it! I’ll pick some of my favorite DIY links and share them with all of you.
Leather itself has a certain luxurious appeal, but quilting makes this textile feel absolutely opulent. Maybe it’s because we associate it with the infamous Chanel bag or maybe it’s because it adds an unexpected cool element to your overall look (or both!).

Although, it would certainly be nice to afford that Kenzo sweater or a real Chanel handbag, this beauty on a budget needs to find another alternative. Lucky for me (and you), Liz over at Cotton and Curls shows us how to update a basic sweatshirt with quilted leather patches. The tutorial is super easy to follow and it doesn’t even look like she made it herself!

Hope you all had a spooky-fun Halloween! Mine was spent in doors playing catch up, but don’t worry! I have a jam-packed weekend planned including some post-Halloween celebrations to make up for my lack luster evening.
Can you believe it’s November already? It’s tights weather, my favorite time of the year! Finally! This year, I’m stocking up on solid colors and girly patterns to keep my gams warm.

Buy them on the cheap at retailers like Target, Forever 21, and H&M. Extra crafty points for DIY-ing your own! Take sheer tights in the color of your choosing and doodle on them with a fabric pen. So easy and fun in addition to being a great fall fashion update.
If there are two things I love most it’s adorable shoes and crafting. Thank goodness for Glitter Mint! Her latest DIY is inspired by my ultimate shoe crush Charlotte Olympia. Go pop over to the blog for the full DIY!
I swoon over these glitter loafers by Croon! So pricey, but wouldn’t this be a fun DIY project?
