Last Monday, I got a lady like makeover at my favorite, East Bay consignment shop Urbanity! Jessie Marie helped me find the perfect, winter date outfit and snapped me sashaying on Solano Avenue.
This dress made me feel like such a girly girl! I don’t have a ton of black and white in my closet, but after seeing it pair so nicely with this plaid coat I can definitely see myself wearing the combo more often.
Neon makeup worked its way into my daily beauty routine. Highlighter yellow nail polish and bright fuchsia lips can really punch up your ready-for-winter look!
I can’t really remember the last time a wore a pair of heels. I think I was very disappointed because they hurt like hell and left me with the worst blisters. These shoes, however, were surprisingly comfortable and what a steal! Brand new for forty five buckeroos? This might be the trick to get me back on a heel kick!
Coat: Aoxuek J $65, Dress: Eva Franco $88, Shoes: Guess $45 all found on the racks at Urbanity!
Thank you Urbanity for showing this girly girl a great time! Can’t wait for our next styling session! In the mood for a treasure hunt? Go pop in for a visit or check out their brand new online store!

The other Jessie and I spent a good hour in the Morcom Rose Garden Friday morning. Unfortunately, we missed the good light and the wind gave me more than my fair share of wardrobe malfunctions. Despite these hiccups, I gotta say: photo shoots are one of the best ways to start your day (especially when followed by a pastry pit stop at Boot and Shoe)!
I adore this dress by Anna Sui. On my normal budget, I could only dream of affording one of here pieces. Lucky for me, I got it for a song at my favorite East Bay consignment shop, Urbanity. I love how the print is a little ambiguous. Are those flowers, lemons, or BOTH?
I used some of my Crossroads “cash” for this LOFT cardigan. It’s a lovely color, but I’m thinking it might end up in my trade bag pretty soon. Out with the old, in with the new!
After years of searching, I found the perfect cork wedges at the perfect price (ok, that’s an over exaggeration. It was more like a week)! These Tahari’s were hiding in the sale section at DSW. Sixty bucks with an extra 40%? Sold.
Hope this post helps you shake off your case of the Mondays!
