NYFW: J. Crew

I’m always impressed with J. Crew. Their look books and showcases at NYFW are super inspiring and easy to wear in the real world. It’s no wonder that I absolutely adore their Spring/Summer ’14 collection. Skit and short suits in crisp whites and playful geometric prints; tulle skirts with souvenir tees; and their usual downtown business casual cool leaves me salivating. Anybody got a tissue?

NYFW: Alice + Olivia

Alice + Olivia presents their usual girly glam with a casual twist. Playful mint leather skirts are paired with slouchy denim jackets;  the crop top-skirt sets embody the movie icon of the century Cher Horowitz;  and A+O enter a new frontier with distressed denim making this collection is so different, yet so familiar.

NYFW: Libertine

God save the queen! Libertine’s glimpse into spring/summer ’14 is a punk’s delight! The draping and tailoring make these pieces true show stoppers. Doesn’t this explosion of color, sparkles, and all things punk makes you feel like collaging?

NYFW: Charlotte Ronson

Charlotte Ronson’s vision for spring/summer has a Lolita feel with bad girl undertones. Play suits and floral dresses grow up with a pallet of navy and black while moto jackets in black and cream give these looks a punch of punk. Just when you think it’s all work and no play, Ronson tops it all off with adorable sandals and girly purses. I need the cherry cross body in my life!

NYFW: Creatures of Comfort

Their clothing seems to echo their brand name quite perfectly. Loose fitting tops, polkadotted chambray, and colorful socks make for a comfy-chic spring collection. Loving the use of chenille in this collection!
