I absolutely love everything about Nicolette Mason. Her writing is witty and personable, she’s gorgeous, and how about that closet?! Unleashing My Inner Sporty Spice via Nicolette Mason.Nicolette Mason: {STYLE} Florals? For Winter? Groundbreaking.

To celebrate her awesomeness, I couldn’t show you one outfit. I had to create two! Show your sweet side at your family Christmas dinner in a Markus Lupfer inspired sweater and jacquard midi skirt. Get sporty on game day with this varsity sweater and faux leather skirt. She and I have a shared obsession with kitschy and adorable accessories. I love the lucite heels, the striped pumps, and the lips clutch!

The Ugly Christmas Sweater Phenomena

When you’re selling them in Target for nearly 30 bucks, I’d say the trend has reached a new level of crazy. And if you’re planning on going to the thrift shop for a last minuet ugly Christmas sweater party, forget about it. All those were snatched up and posted on Etsy for at least 20 bucks a pop. Well, thankfully Modcloth provides more adorable and tasteful options to choose from.Christmas Sweaters

Find all of these and so much more holiday cheer at Modcloth.

Need a reason to wear your new sweater? If you happen to be in San Francisco, come to 20 Mission’s Ugly Christmas Sweater Party for Christmas joy and cheer! Live music, free (limited) beverages, and a photobooth? Sold! Check out their event page for the all deets!

She’s making a list….

Christmas has crept up on me! It seems this transitional phase of mine has put me in a rather awkward position. In between work, more work, eating, and sleeping, when do I have time to go Christmas shopping?

Well, I might not have a ton of time to go shopping, but you might! Without further a due, here is a list of what I’m hoping to see under the tree this year.

Making a list

From top left: Sandals, Swedish Hasbeens. Booties, Loeffler Randall. Cross-Body Purse, Foley + Corrina. Coat, Top Shop. Sewing Machine (I’m not a professional, so any one that can actually allow me to hem denim will do!). Flats, BC Shoes. Clogs, Swedish Hasbeens. Boots, MIA.

Thankful Thursday

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I’d like to dedicate this post to all of my readers and followers. I’m so thankful that I have you; the reason I write and continue to think up something new everyday. You all have made Poor Jessie Ann possible and I certainly don’t know where this little blog of mine would be without you. Have a warm and wonderful Thanksgiving, everyone!
