A Pleasure to Meet You.

I feel so behind! Your PJA has been a very busy girl these days. I can’t believe I haven’t even covered Fashion Week yet!

Ok, so let’s waste no more time and get started with a very charming collection from Erin Fetherston. This Fall, Fetherston brings us a line with notes of the 50’s and 60’s. Two piece skit suits, a-line lace dresses, baby dolls, and drop waits silhouettes grace us with out presence.

Sunday Sounds…like Justice

Sorry about the silence this week! Looks like we have some catching up to do.

Quite an exciting week, wouldn’t you say? Fashion Week (more like Fashion Month!), a new Target collaboration (which, sadly, slipped through my fingers), and going full time at work has certainly kept me on my toes! Don’t worry, I’ll have a full week of posts scheduled for this week!

But first, here’s a song to get your blood pumping and your heart racing! This came on as I was racing to Target in hopes of snatching up a mini yellow satchel and I KNEW it had to be featured on Sunday Sounds. To my dismay, all of the purses were sold out. I should have known, but sleep seemed like a better idea than waiting for the 3.1 Phillip Lim launch. Silly me thought she could just waltz in a pick one up at the crack of 10! *le sigh*. It wasn’t meant to be. Like I tell my customers, that just means there is something better out there waiting for me!

NYFW: J. Crew

I’m always impressed with J. Crew. Their look books and showcases at NYFW are super inspiring and easy to wear in the real world. It’s no wonder that I absolutely adore their Spring/Summer ’14 collection. Skit and short suits in crisp whites and playful geometric prints; tulle skirts with souvenir tees; and their usual downtown business casual cool leaves me salivating. Anybody got a tissue?

NYFW: Alice + Olivia

Alice + Olivia presents their usual girly glam with a casual twist. Playful mint leather skirts are paired with slouchy denim jackets;  the crop top-skirt sets embody the movie icon of the century Cher Horowitz;  and A+O enter a new frontier with distressed denim making this collection is so different, yet so familiar.

NYFW: Libertine

God save the queen! Libertine’s glimpse into spring/summer ’14 is a punk’s delight! The draping and tailoring make these pieces true show stoppers. Doesn’t this explosion of color, sparkles, and all things punk makes you feel like collaging?
